Has this community become a mystery

  I miss the moments we had so much. Today I was able to admit something to myself. Five years later, there is a fondness for him in my heart that even time has not eroded. Over the weekend, we had a ravishing birthday party. I am storyteller at heart and everything is a story.  The gathering was predominantly adorned with the laughter and presence of women and girls, while the male host had only extended an invitation to a lone friend. This sparked introspection as I considered my own experiences, realizing that, aside from relatives, my father seemed to engage with very few individuals for more than a fleeting moment.
